“The S Word” on October 14th at Galvin Middle School Auditorium, 525 Main Street in Wakefield. The film will start at 6:00 and the event will end at 8:00. There will be a Q&A session following the film with the director, Lisa Klein; Craig Miller, an attempt survivor and Dr. Pata Suyemoto. The Massachusetts Coalition for Suicide Prevention Northeast Region 11th is hosting its annual Leadership Breakfast. This year the breakfast will be held on October 24th at Umass Lowell’s Alumni Hall. Registration and breakfast begin at 8 and the program is from 9:00-10:30 am. Finally, the Samaritans of Merrimack Valley is hosting their first annual Walk for Hope where we will be walking to promote suicide awareness and show support for those impacted by suicide and mental health challenges. Flu Clinic FAQs:

- Anyone aged 6 months and up are eligible except anyone who has an egg allergy or has history of allergy to previous flu vaccines

-The vaccine for children is Thimerosol-free

-The clinic does not offer pneumonia vaccines at the flu clinics

-The clinic will have some High Dose vaccine for those aged 65 and older who may be interested

-Please bring your health insurance card, Medicaid or Mass health card.Without a health insurance card, the cost will be $20.00

-There is no need to make an appointment, clinics are ‘drop-in’ style

-If you know of a person who is homebound or someone who is unable to make the clinics, please contact Tamara Bedard directly at the Nashoba Board Of Health to make arrangements for either a home visit or an office visit by appointment
